Office Hours:Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
After normal business hours and on weekends, our phones are transferred to our answering service. There is always an orthopedic physician on call and, in case of an emergency, that physician will be contacted immediately.
In house X-ray:
For your convenience, we perform and interpret x-rays in our office and have two x-ray technicians on staff.
Billing and Insurance:
The statement you receive from our office includes only Dr. Aitken's fees. You may also receive separate bills from the hospital or other physicians such as radiologists and anesthesiologists. Should you have any questions about your statement from us, please feel free to contact our Billing Manager.
We participate with and accept most insurance plans including Medicare and Kentucky and Ohio Worker's Compensation; however, it is the responsibility of the patient to ensure that Dr. Aitken is covered under his/her plan.
If your insurance plan has a Co-Pay, this amount must be paid when you sign in for your appointment and before you see the doctor.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, personal checks, money orders and cash.
Driving Directions:
From Greenup: Travel U.S. 23 South. In downtown Ashland, U.S. 23 becomes Winchester Avenue. From Winchester Avenue, turn right onto 23rd Street. Go through three stop signs then turn right into Valet Parking or left into Parking Garage.
From Louisa: Travel U.S. 23 North. In downtown Ashland, U.S. 23 becomes Winchester Avenue. From Winchester Avenue, turn left onto 23rd Street. Go through three stop signs then turn right into Valet Parking or left into Parking Garage.
From Lexington Avenue: Turn onto 23rd Street towards the hospital. Go through one stop sign, then turn left into Valet Parking or right into Parking Garage.
Our office is located in Medical Plaza A, Suite 3, First Floor near Wendy's.
